1. Service Description
Scopax provides calibration management software for manufacturing companies. Our service helps you track equipment calibrations, manage certificates, and generate audit reports.
Important Disclaimer: Scopax is a recordkeeping utility only. You remain responsible for all calibration decisions and compliance with applicable regulations.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- One account per company organization
- User seats and limits depend on your selected plan (see Pricing for details)
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Scopax only for:
- Legitimate calibration tracking and management
- Generating audit reports for compliance purposes
- Managing your company's calibration certificates
You agree NOT to:
- Upload malicious files or software
- Attempt to access other companies' data
- Use the service for illegal activities
- Reverse engineer or copy our software
4. Pricing and Billing
- Plan fees are listed on the Pricing page and billed in your selected currency; taxes may apply.
- Monthly and annual billing options are available (annual includes a discount vs monthly).
- 30-day money-back guarantee on the first billing period; cancel anytime.
- No free trial; access is granted after checkout.
- Price changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice.
5. Data Ownership and Responsibility
Your Data: You own all calibration data, certificates, and content you upload. We are processors, you are the data controller under GDPR.
Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for:
- Accuracy of calibration data and schedules
- Compliance with calibration requirements
- Regulatory compliance in your jurisdiction
- Backup of critical calibration records
6. Service Availability
- We target high availability, but the service is provided on an "as is" basis without an uptime guarantee.
- Planned maintenance will include reasonable notice where practical.
- No guarantee of uninterrupted service; temporary interruptions may occur.
- Data exports are available while your account is active.
7. Limitation of Liability
Scopax provides software tools to assist with calibration management. We are not responsible for:
- Missed calibration deadlines
- Audit findings or compliance failures
- Production issues related to calibration
- Regulatory violations or penalties
- Data loss (maintain your own backups)
Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.
8. Termination
Either party may end the service as follows:
- You may cancel at any time; access continues through the paid billing period.
- Monthly plans: cancellation applies to the next billing cycle; charges already paid are non-refundable except within the initial 30-day money-back window.
- Annual plans: cancellation takes effect at the end of the prepaid term; no partial refunds after the initial 30-day money-back window.
- We may suspend or terminate for material violations, fraud, legal requirements, or security risks.
- We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice if we stop offering it.
- You should export your data before cancellation; exports remain available while the account is active.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Switzerland unless applicable law requires otherwise.
